About Giving Thanks

"One of my life values is to give thanks in whatever I do.  My mother and daddy taught me to be grateful for everything that came my way. I desire to serve Christ by leading others to find purpose in living and joy in even the mundane. I long to teach in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ."  -Norma

God’s timing is perfect. Now is the time. Giving Thanks Ministries is formed to encourage people to live in joy and with purpose. Still fresh is the burning within my soul to proclaim the joy of the Lord. There are so many things I want to tell women in today’s confused world. One aspect of Giving Thanks is teaching. I am available for seminars, retreats, keynotes or other forums to speak God’s riches. Experience gives me topics including, Giving Thanks, Growing in the Truth of God’s Word, Leaving a Legacy, Surviving Life’s Changes, Encouragement, Family Worship, Come Aside (a Prayer Seminar), Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus (a Prayer Seminar), A Merry Heart, Happily Ever After (an evangelistic story), and many others.

Another part of Giving Thanks Ministries is support for survivors of cancer and their families. A goal for Giving Thanks is to put a book of inspirational writings on the cancer floors of hospitals.
